Motorola launches its latest flagship smartphone in India.


Lenovo-owned Motorola on Thursday unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, Moto Z2 Force.
Moto Z2 Force is the first phone under Motorola's Z-series to come with a 'Force' suffix. The moniker means the smartphone focuses on sturdiness. It comes with Motorola's popular Shattershield technology which protects a screen from dents and major scratches, even on dropping at a rough surface.

Here are highlights from Motorola's Moto Z2 Force launch event.
12.05PM: Lenovo's Anuj Sharma gives a walkthrough the new smartphone.
12.09PM: Moto Z2 Force comes with a Shattershield display, Motorola's popular technology that ensures screen sturdiness.
12.12PM: Anuj Sharma does a drop test of Moto Z2 Force. He guarantees the screen doesn't shatter even dropping on a rough surface.
12.13PM: Shattershield display comes with multiple layers of screen that protects from scratch and dent. Motorola already offers the technology on Moto X Force.
12.14PM: Anuj reveals the new Moto Mod, the popular snap on accessories that enhance certain features of the phone. For instance, a Battery mod helps the phone add extra battery life.
12.16PM: Moto Z2 Force will come bundled with a TurboPower battery Mod. The snap on mod increases the battery capacity to more than 6,000mAh capacity.
12.18PM: Moto Z2 Force comes with "Moto" features. These features are quite similar to what was available on Moto X4 6GB RAM. READ: Top software features of Moto X4
12.21PM: Moto Z2 Force comes with a dual-camera setup which consists of two 12-megapixel sensors. Motorola claims the phone delivers superior results in low-light conditions.


12.23PM:Moto Z2 Force camera comes with manual mode, AI-based object and image recognition, and barcode scanner.
12.25PM: Moto Z2 Force will come with Android Oreo out-of-the box and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM.
12:27PM: Moto Z2 Force is priced at ₹34,999 and will go on sale tonight at 11.59PM exclusively via Flipkart.
