Previous Netflix tests in India
Netflix was launched as the pricey online streaming platform in India, which was used to be luxury for many at one point of time. But in the intervening years, Netflix has experimented a lot with the subscription plans to attract a larger chunk of customers. This includes entry level plans, giving free access to non-subscribers for a limited time and also making few movies and shows available for free to all the users in August last year. And with the current price slicing decision of various plans, for sure making its path clear towards more customers in India.
