Solar Eclipse livestream online: The world is all set to witness the last solar eclipse of the year in the form of a partial solar eclipse on October 25, which is tomorrow. Although it will be a partial solar eclipse, it will still be a spectacular sight to see from several regions of the world including the Middle-East, Europe, Africa and more. Unfortunately, the US will not be able to witness this stunning phenomenon. If you still wish to see this amazing sight, you can watch the livestream of the partial solar eclipse online.

What is a Partial Solar Eclipse?

A solar eclipse happens when the Moon moves between the Sun and Earth, casting a shadow on Earth, fully or partially blocking the Sun's light in some areas.

According to NASA, A partial solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth but the Sun, Moon, and Earth are not perfectly lined up. Only a part of the Sun will appear to be covered, giving it a crescent shape.

Where will the eclipse be visible?

This partial solar eclipse will be visible in the region covering Europe, the Middle East, north-eastern parts of Africa, western Asia, the North Atlantic Ocean and the North Indian Ocean tomorrow, October 25. Most states of India will also get to witness this amazing phenomenon.

Although it will be easily visible, it is not advised to watch the eclipse with naked eyes. You can watch the eclipse using a proper filter like aluminized Mylar, black polymer, welding glass of shade number 14 or by making a projection of the Sun's image on a white board by telescope.

However, if the eclipse is not visible in your city, you can still witness it through various livestreams around the world.

Solar Eclipse livestream online: When and Where to watch the eclipse

With the help of the Annie Maunder Astrographic Telescope, the Royal Observatory Greenwich will livestream the event tomorrow, beginning at 5:05 a.m. EDT with live commentary from astronomers. The Virtual Telescope Project, based in Ceccano, Italy will also begin its livestream of the partial solar eclipse at 5 a.m. EDT tomorrow.
