Vivo Y17 with triple cameras, 5,000mAh battery launched in India: Price, specifications

Vivo on Saturday launched a new smartphone in India. Vivo Y17 smartphone comes with triple rear cameras, and is priced at ₹17,990.

Vivo Y17 will be available online via the company's e-store, Flipkart, Amazon, and Paytm, and through offline partner outlets as well. Vivo Y17 comes in two colour options of 'Mineral Blue' and 'Mystic Purple'.

Vivo Y17 specifications

Vivo Y17 features a 6.35-inch HD+display with a dewdrop styled notch and 19.3:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek's 12nm Helio P35 octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz. In terms of storage, Vivo Y17 comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It also offers 'Ultra Gaming Mode' for enhanced gaming performance through drop in frame rate.

Coming to its highlight, Vivo Y17 sports a triple-camera setup of 13-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel super wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone supports wide-angle photos up to 128 degrees. For selfies there's a 20-megapixel front camera. Vivo Y17 is fuelled by a 5000mAh battery, and runs on FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0.
