WhatsApp tips and tricks: This search tool is just the perfect time saver
WhatsApp tips and tricks: If you don't want to stress yourself out searching for something on WhatsApp, here is what you must do.
Virtually everyone has been using WhatsApp for years. So, there is a huge amount of data, text, photos, videos, sounds and so on and so forth is there somewhere in your account. Now, suppose you want to find something in there. Impossible? Yes, unless of course, you remember some important and unique aspects about it - the person or group concerned and of course, a keyword. Once you have that, you would have possibly eliminated almost everything else that is unrelated and the options provided to you will most probably, have what you want.
So, what do you need to do? You must take that keyword and type it into the search box on top of your WhatsApp page. The search will isolate the messages with the relevant keyword and you can scroll through them to find what you are looking for. Yes, if the keyword is not unique enough or used too often in the chats, it will throw up a lot of posts for you to scroll through. However, at least it will beat having to scroll through ALL of the chats involved with that person or group.

While this is definitely a problem solver too that is already there on your phone, WhatsApp is soon likely to come up with a really unique feature soon. This feature will give you the power to break free from your smartphone. WhatsApp is coming up with a feature that will allow multidevice connections, which will allow you to open your account in 4 different devices at the same time. This includes tablets, PC etc. While you can open a mirror image WhatsApp account on your computer currently, it has the nasty habit of losing connectivity and if the smartphone battery dies, the connectivity is totally lost.
With the new feature, users will be able to do whatever they want on WhatsApp in the other devices even if the primary device, the smartphone, is switched off. Now, that is what we call true freedom.
However, WhatsApp rival Signal already offers this feature, and you can head over there to try it out if you so wish.
