The message sharing platform Whatsapp rolled out three new features. The company has announced 2 of the features for its app and one for WghatsApp Web version, which allows users to edit their images before sending them.

The two other features that were launched just for the WhatsApp mobile application are sticker suggestions and a preview links option. “We know feeling comfortable expressing yourself is an important part of why people use WhatsApp to keep in contact with their friends and family," WhatsApp stated on introducing the new features.

"Over the past few months we've made a few changes to WhatsApp to answer some of your feature requests and to keep giving you the best experience," it added.

Meta-owned (formerly Facebook) company WhatsApp took to Twitter to share a sneak peek into its three new features: Desktop photo editor, sticker suggestions, and preview links.

WhatsApp Web Desktop Photo editor: Earlier, users could send their images directly from the gallery via application and make the basic changes of cropping, rotating, adding emojis or stickers and text. With the new Desktop photo editor feature of WhatsApp, now users can do the same changes via WhatsApp Web version before sending the images from their system.

Sticker Suggestions: It's similar to getting suggestions of using emoticons while sending messages, but the new feature will show you suggestions for stickers according to your conversations. For example, if you type ‘HAHA' to laugh, it will automatically give you options to choose laughing stickers.

Preview links: According to the WhatsApp glimpse about the new feature, the updated preview link option will provide much more information about sending link to the sender as well as the receiver. It will also helps you to know about the link before you click on it, which will ensure that you avoid clicking on malicious links.
