Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is finally here. Aimed at power users who love to push their phone to limits by using graphic-intensive apps, games in particular, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 comes with a range of hardware and software optimisations. For starters, it comes with a vapour chamber liquid cooling system devised to keep the phone from overheating during longer sessions of games such as PUBG and Fortnite.

As far as hardware optimisations go, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 display gets better with a pressure-sensitive system which can also be used for mapping the buttons on games. Similar to Apple's pressure-sensitive 3D Touch technology, Black Shark 2 triggers functions depending on the pressure applied.

The display now delivers better colours and faster refresh rates. It also supports in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device also supports third-party accessories to improve the gaming experience on the phone.

Some of the key features include HDR game visual effects, Super Theatre Mode, 100%> NTSC, full DC filming, intelligent motion compensation technology. It also has front double speakers with improved vibration feedback.

Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is packed with high-end specifications which includes Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 855 processor and up to 12GB of RAM. The phone is available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants as well. The base built-in storage is 128GB and goes up to 256GB. The phone comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. It sports 12-megapixel dual-rear cameras, and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. It's powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The phone comes with a faster 27W fast charger.

The base model of Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is priced at CNY 3,200 ( ₹30,000 approximately) while the top-end model costs CNY 4,200 ( ₹43,000 approximately).
