Shinco launches Alexa-powered smart TVs in India, prices start at ₹11,999

Shinco on Wednesday announced the launch of two new smart TV models in India. Available in 32-inch and 43-inch screen sizes, the new smart TVs come with Alexa digital assistant built-in.

The SO32SF 32 inch (80cm) HD Ready is available for ₹11,999 on Amazon India as part of the ongoing Republic Day Sale. The official price of the smart TV is ₹12,999. The 43-inch SO43AS is available for ₹19,999 (deal price) on the e-commerce platform. The model is officially priced at ₹21,999.

That said, the Alexa support allows users to interact with the digital assistant through voice commands, which can be enabled by pressing and holding the mic button the remote. Users can ask Alexa to browse content, play music, control volume, and even get weather and news updates. It also supports tasks like setting alarms, reminders response to queries, and more.

Apart from controlling the TV through Alexa on the bundled remote, users can pair the TV with Echo Smart speakers or the Alexa mobile app. Users can say the wake word Alexa followed by the command to the connected device. The Alexa on the Shinco TV also lets you control Alexa-enabled smart home devices such as smart fans and CCTVs.
