Apple has launched a new Apple Watch Pride Edition band and dynamic watch face. Apple announced the new launches on International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT). There's the Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop, Pride watch face, and Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop.

The Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop is priced at ₹7,900 and the Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop costs ₹3,900. Both products can be purchased today from Apple's online store. It may be mentioned that the Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop is compatible with Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 4 or later, while the Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop can be used with the Apple Watch Series 3 or later.

The Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop features the original rainbow colours, and colours from various Pride flags. “Black and brown symbolise Black and Latinx communities, in addition to those who have passed away from or are living with HIV/AIDS, while light blue, pink, and white represent transgender and nonbinary individuals,” Apple said in a release. The watch band has been made with stretchable recycled yarn and silicon threads.

The Pride Watch Face also has the same colours as the band. The digital crown when rotated shows the threads on the watch face scroll and animate with a raise of the wrist. Apple has also added an App Clip functionality within the band packaging to easily access the matching watch face. The Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop has the six colours of the original rainbow. There's also a corresponding Nike watch face that goes along with the watch band.
