Can’t afford AirPods? Infinix to launch TWS earbuds for less than ₹2,000
Infinix Snokor TWS earbuds will launch in India on July 24. Here are the pictures of the affordable wearable.
It was inevitable, wasn't it? After Apple launched AirPods, several low-cost wireless earbuds have swamped the market. These Apple AirPods-lookalikes come with limited features and relatively lower-quality audio. Nonetheless, they are selling like hotcakes in India. Now, Infinix is going to launch wireless earbuds under ₹2,000.
Dubbed as Snokor TWS earbuds, Infinix's new wearable will launch on July 24. There are also official renders of the TWS earbuds, revealing “goose eggs” shaped buds. The wearable is said to be “lightweight” and comes with a sub-miniature case. It's likely to be available in black and white colour options.
“Recently, the ‘SNOKOR' retail box got leaked online and it was seen with a ‘Designed by Infinix' tag. Infinix is also planning to launch more audio products, including wired earphones and Bluetooth speakers, under the SNOKOR brand in the coming months,” read a note.

That said, Infinix's Snokor will not be the cheapest truly wireless earbuds in the market. A quick search for “cheapest TWS India” reveals products such as boat Airdopes 201 ( ₹1,999) and PTron Bassbuds Lite ( ₹899). There is also the Nu Republic on Tata Cliq for ₹1,299.
While Apple leads the segment, there is a huge demand for affordable wireless earbuds. This is why the likes of Xiaomi and Realme have also joined the fray. Xiaomi offers Redmi Earbuds S for ₹1,799 whereas Realme Buds Air Neo is priced at ₹2,999. Poco and several other smartphone companies are also going to launch affordable wireless earbuds.
