Honor Band 6 has been listed on Flipkart confirming its India launch. The fitness band comes with an AMOLED display, menstrual cycle tracking, and more.
A new fitness band is launching in India soon, and it's the Honor Band 6. The wearable has been listed on Flipkart with a dedicated page highlighting its features and specifications. The listing confirms its availability on the e-commerce platform but it doesn't mention the launch date of the Honor Band 6.
Honor Band 6 was made official last year in November. It was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 249 which translates to roughly ₹2,800. It also comes in an NFC variant which costs CNY 289 ( ₹3,300 approx). Honor Band 6 looks quite like the Honor Watch ES with its rectangular display, and it comes in three colour options of Coral Powder, Meteorite Black, and Seagull Grey. All three colours will be available in India as per the Flipkart listing.
Honor Band 6 has a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. It packs a 180mAh battery that should last for up to 14 days on typical usage, and 10 days on heavy usage. Honor also claims that just five minutes of charging gives a two-day battery life.
The fitness band comes with activity tracking for 10 different sports. It is also water resistant up to 50 metres. It is also equipped with heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring and sleep tracking. The Honor Band 6 also has ovulation tracking and menstrual cycle tracking as part of it's women's health management.
In addition to these features, the Honor Band 6 can also display notifications, and let users control music playback. The smart band offers more than 100 dial faces to choose from. The NFC variant can be used for wireless payments, and there's voice assistant support as well. It's not confirmed though if Honor will launch the NFC model in India.
