Huawei FreeBuds Studio wireless headphones launched
Huawei FreeBuds Studio comes with three ANC modes, and it's claimed to last for up to 24 hours on a single charge.
Huawei has launched its first over-the-ear wireless headphones. Huawei FreeBuds Studio comes with active noise cancellation, voice assistant support, and up to 24 hours of music playback. Huawei launched the FreeBuds Studio along with its flagship Mate 40 Pro smartphone series.
Huawei FreeBuds Studio is priced at €299 ( ₹26,000 approx), and it will go on sale in November. There's no word on the headphones launching in other markets including India. It comes in two colour options of black and gold. The headphones have ear cups measure 65mm x 42mm, and a headband that can extend to 150 degrees.
Huawei FreeBuds Studio offers three ANC modes that are activated depending on the environment. The active noise cancellation effect can go up to 40dB, Huawei said in a release. The wireless headphones also come with awareness mode and voice mode so users can still hear what's going on around them. It also has a six-mic call noise reduction system that is said to focus on voices and cancel background noise.
Huawei FreeBuds Studio supports dual-mode and dual connection for users to connect with two devices simultaneously. This is possible on Android, iOS and Windows devices. The wireless headphones are also equipped with dual antennas for 360-degree Bluetooth coverage.
In terms of battery life, the Huawei FreeBuds can offer up to 24 hours of music playback with ANC turned off, and 20 hours with ANC. The company also said that a 10-minute charge can give five hours of music playback with ANC, and eight hours without ANC.
