Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro with wireless charging, 14-day battery life launched

Huawei's latest smartwatch comes with an AMOLED display, and it offers more than 100 sports modes.

Huawei has launched its latest smartwatch, the Watch GT 2 Pro. The new smartwatch was launched alongside five more products at the Huawei Seamless AI Life New Products launch event.

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro comes in two variants where the sport version costs €329 ( 28,700 approx), and the classic variant costs €349 ( 30,400 approx). Huawei hasn't announced yet when it's launching the Watch GT 2 Pro in India. It is available in two colour options of grey and black with brown and black leather straps. The smartwatch is made of titanium and sapphire glass.

It has a 1.39-inch HD AMOLED display with support for slide and touch gestures. The smartwatch has over 200 watch faces to choose from. The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro has 4GB of storage and it is powered by the Kirin A1 chipset. Like the previous version, the Watch GT 2 Pro also comes with a built-in speaker. It's also equipped with GPS, Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity, and an optical heart rate sensor.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is claimed to last for 14 days on a single charge. Huawei has also added wireless charging this time. The smartwatch also offers more than 100 sports modes along with 17 professional modes and 85 custom modes. Its features include measuring SpO2 levels, heart rate monitoring and sleep monitoring as well. In terms of compatibility, the Huawei Watch G2 Pro can be paired with phones running Android 4.4 or above, and iOS 9.0 or above.
