Bigger display

Mi Band 5 is said to feature a 1,2-inch display which would be bigger than the 0.95-inch screen on the Mi Band 4. It would still be an OLED display with touchscreen support. Some reports also suggest a punch-hole camera on the display but that detail seems sketchy.

Google Pay support

There's a leak that suggests the Mi Band 5 will come with NFC support for contactless payments. It's also expected to support Google Pay which would be a useful feature in countries like India.

SpO2 sensor

Mi Band 5 could be equipped with an SpO2 sensor which would make it capable of measuring blood oxygen saturation and track menstrual cycle as well.

Amazon Alexa support

Xiaomi could also add support for Amazon Alexa on the Mi Band 5. This would be a major upgrade for the fitness band and make it widely available in other markets. Mi Band 4 also has voice assistant support but only in China.

Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI)

This feature on the Mi Band 5 will supposedly show users how much activity is required to stay healthy. The fitness band will alert users and offer such suggestions based on their heart rate data.
