Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 unveiled with new design, advanced tracking features
Samsung has launched a new fitness band Galaxy Fit 2. Here is what you need to know about the latest wearable.
Samsung at its ‘Life Unstoppable' virtual event announced a new fitness tracker, Galaxy Fit 2. The company is likely to launch the wearable later this year. Samsung did not reveal the full specifications and price of the fitness tracker.
The company said that Galaxy Fit 2 comes with a slim and lightweight design. It offers long-lasting battery and advanced tracking features. Samsung added that Galaxy Fit 2 can automatically detect and track up to five different types of activities. These include sleep monitoring, heart rate, distance, and calories burned.
The device is also confirmed to come with a 3D glass display and support for over 70 watch face options. As far as battery life goes, Samsung said Galaxy Fit 2 can last up to 15 days. The battery life can be extended to 21 days depending on the user's settings and preferences.

According to Wearable.com, Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 has a 1.1-inch touchscreen display with an AMOLED panel. The new fitness tracker is said to be a blend of Galaxy Fit and affordable Galaxy Fit e.
Other features of the wearable include a plastic module, silicon bands, and 159mAh battery.
Apart from Galaxy Fit 2, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Tab A7. The new tablet comes with a 10.4-inch display with a metal finish and symmetrical bezel on the sides. The device is said to deliver an 80% screen-to-body ratio.
The tablet is also equipped with four Dolby Atmos speakers. Samsung said that the Tab A7 delivers a “long-lasting battery.”
“The Tab A7 is the ultimate on-the-go picture and sound entertainment experience. It is also perfect for the kids with an all-new Samsung Kids app that features a variety of educational and entertaining content,” said Samsung on its website.
