Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 support pages go live in India ahead of August 5 launch
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is coming soon to India. The wearable also marks the return of the popular rotating bezel on Samsung’s smartwatches. Here is a brief round up of what we know about the smartwatch so far.
Samsung is getting ready for its August 5 event where it will showcase the next flagship series ‘Galaxy Note 20'. The smartphones will be accompanied by a bunch of new devices including a smartwatch, next-gen foldable phone, updated Galaxy Z Flip and lots more. Ahead of the official launch, Samsung has made the support page for ‘Galaxy Watch 3' live.
The company has generated two support pages for SM-R845F and SM-R850, likely the variants of Galaxy Watch 3. The support pages don't feature any detail about the smartwatch but do confirm the imminent availability in India. It is worth noting that these two models refer to Galaxy Watch 3's 41mm and 44mm models.
According to older reports, Samsung's Galaxy Watch 3 will be available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE versions. The company has also planned to launch stainless steel and titanium models for the Galaxy Watch 3.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is said to come with a 1.2-inch/1.4-inch AMOLED display. One of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy Watch 3 is going to be the return of the rotating bezel.
It will have IP68 certification for dust resistance and 5ATM water resistance. The wearable will run on TizenOS. For performance, it will rely on 1GB of RAM coupled with 8GB of built-in storage.
The smartwatch is said to come with up to 340mAh battery. The 41mm model will have a slightly smaller battery at 247mAh. Other key features of the smartwatch include ECG support, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC among others.
We're likely to find out more about the Galaxy Watch 3 soon as the official launch date nears. Until then, stay tuned.
