Sony, a brand which is better known for its headphones with impressive noise-cancelling abilities, has added a new product in the lineup in India - WH-CH710N. These new over the head earphones is a rather budget offering from Sony, something that should come as a surprise for many (in a good way of course). The WH-CH710N is available at 9,999 (best buy price, 14,990 as MRP) and you get the same wireless noise cancelling smarts alongside a long lasting battery backup.

Available in Black and Blue, the headphones can be purchased across Sony retail stores (Sony Centre and Sony Exclusive), shopatsc.com and other e-commerce websites.

As claimed by Sony, the headphones have a music playback of up to 35 hours on a single charge. In addition, there’s a 10 minute Quick Charge feature as well that can deliver 60 minutes of music playback.

The Sony WH-CH710N has a 30mm driver unit for a clearer sound and reproducing more audio frequencies for clarity. And like with other headphones, these too support voice assistants. On the right earcup you get a single button to switch between Ambient Sound and Noise Cancelling mod along with play/pause and buttons to skip tracks. On the left, you get a 3.5mm headphone slot, USB Type-C port, NFC and the power button. The supported frequency is from 7Hz to 20,000Hz.

Sporting a swivel design and adjustable metal slider, Sony WH-CH710N has microphones on both the earcups so one can talk and be heard clearly by others. The device supports Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity and weighs 223 grams, which is on the lighter side of the spectrum.
