Wordle is a word game which has gained instant global popularity, the kind that has never been seen before! Wordle game is played online. As per the rules of the game, players are required to find the correct word in 6 attempts. And now the Wordle answer of Thursday, February 24 ha sparked outrage in the UK. So, what is the fuss about the Wordle 250 answer? According to the users who rushed to Twitter to complain, Thursday's answer was way “too British.” It can be known that the Wordle 250 answer for Feb 24 was "bloke".

It became an issue as the word bloke refers to British slang for “man”. Notably, the Australians too like to lay claim to this word. "Today's wordle felt particularly Australian. I would have gotten it in four, if I hadn't changed my answer at the last minute, thinking, no, a New Yorker wouldn't use this word! I was wrong," one Twitter user wrote. While another tweeted, “Good morning to everyone except that bloke who picked todays Wordle word.”

As per the report by nypost.com, the complaints mark a complete turnaround from several weeks ago, when British puzzle fanatics slammed Wordle for employing the American spellings of certain words.

For the uninitiated who have not yet played Wordle, this game can be played online, free of cost and you have six attempts to come up with a 5-letter word to win. Also, everyday there is a new game that is after every 24 hours there is a new word of the day, and it is you who has to figure it out. If you want to play the game, then the only thing you require is an internet connection.

The feedback for each guess is given in the form of colored tiles to indicate if letters match the correct position. It is fun, easy to play and is similar to crossword or other mobile games related to guessing the word available on the Google Play Store and App Store.

Every time you guess a correct alphabet in its right position in the word you will get a green coloured hint. In case you guess a correct letter but the positioning of the same is wrong then it will be highlighted with the yellow colour.

And any alphabets that are not in the word will be indicated to you in black colour highlights. Once you guess a word you will have to hit the enter button to submit. It needs to be noted that after each guess, the colour of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was.
