HP launches the HP Pavilion Aero 13 in India, its lightest consumer notebook yet

HP has just launched the Pavilion Aero 13 in India that's powered by an AMD processor. The company calls this their lightest consumer notebook yet and the HP Pavilion Aero 13 weighs under a kilogram and comes with the AMD Ryzen 5 and 7 5800U mobile processor paired with AMD Radeon graphics under the hood. The laptop offers a 90% screen-to-body ratio and it is made with post-consumer recycled and ocean-bound plastics. The HP Pavilion Aero 13 comes with a magnesium-aluminum chassis, thin bezels, and runs Windows 10. This laptop should be upgradable to Windows 11 later in the year when the OS publicly rolls out.

HP Pavilion Aero 13 specifications

The HP Pavilion Aero 13 features a 13.3-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS display with anti-glare coating, 400 nits brightness, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100% sRGB. It comes in two variants powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 5600U or the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor and is paired with AMD Radeon graphics. According to the company, the laptop comes with 10.5 hours of battery life promise on one charge and is powered by a 45Wh Li-polymer 3-cell battery. The HP Pavilion Aero 13 comes bundled with a 65W adapter for fast charging.

The HP Pavilion Aero 13 weighs 970 gms and comes with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity support. As HP says, this laptop has been made with post-consumer recycled and ocean-bound plastics saving the oceans from getting polluted by 6,000 plastic bottles for each laptop. Under the hood, there is 16GB RAM and storage options on the HP Pavilion Aero 13 include 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.

The HP Pavilion Aero 13 comes with a handful of ports for connectivity including a SuperSpeed USB Type-C 10Gbps port, two SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. The laptop comes with a 720p HD webcam with integrated dual-array digital microphones for those video calls.

The HP Pavilion Aero 13 is priced at ₹79,999 for the model that comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600U processor and ₹94,999 for the one that comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor. The laptop is available in three colours - Pale Rose Gold, Ceramic White, and Natural Silver. You can buy the HP Pavilion Aero 13 from HP World stores and online from the HP website.
