Logitech mechanical keyboard in eye-popping colours! Price will surprise you

Logitech has launched the POP Keys and POP Mouse accessory set in India. Here is how much they cost and what features they offer.

Close on the heels of the Logitech MX keys Mini launch, Logitech has now announced another new product for writers. However, this time it is targeting the younger generation who are seeking something lively and fun. The Logitech POP keys is its latest keyboard that tries to bring the best of all worlds. And paired to that is a new wireless mouse that is just colourful enough to make your mundane work desk, or your study desk pop!

The Logitech POP Keys keyboard is currently on sale at a price of Rs. 9,995, whereas the Logitech POP Mouse will set you back by Rs. 2,995. Both the keyboard and mouse come in three colour variants – Daydream, Blast, and Heartbreaker. The keyboard tries to ape the retro style PC typewriter keyboards and tries to throw in a lot of colours and dedicated emoji keys for the fun factor.

Logitech POP Keys, POP Mouse launch

The Logitech POP Keys is essentially a mechanical keyboard that brings in a lot of features. The key attraction is the typewriter-like mechanical keys that promise to offer a lot of feedback. Its 12 new FN shortcuts feature Snip Screen, Mute Mic and Media Keys to facilitate the workloads.

However, the keyboard gets dedicated emoji keys on the side – four on the keyboard that can be customised to your favourite ones. You can also use the Logitech Options software to customise them to other shortcut keys on both Windows and Mac. Note that the keyboard does not have backlighting.

The POP Mouse also features a top button that open up an emoji menu and can also be customised via the Options software. Logitech says it gets a new Smartwheel that flips automatically from high-precision to speed scroll mode. With Logitech Options downloaded, you can use the mouse with Logitech Flow for easy text, file and image copy-and-pasting between 2-3 computers. The compact mouse also fits in easily into a pocket.

Logitech says that POP keys keyboard can last up to three years on a single battery while the POP Mouse can go up to two years on a single charge.
