Reliance JioBook laptop has been in the news for months. Previously, tipped by XDA Developers way back in March, 2021 and thereafter some really solid news emerged when three JioBook variants, NB1118QMW, NB1148QMW, and NB1112MM, received the required Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification in September. Now, in the most recent news, the MediaTek MT8788 SoC powered Reliance JioBook laptop appeared online on benchmarking website GeekBench. Reliance JioBook laptop price on launch is expected to make it an affordable gadget.

The Reliance JioBook laptop has been surrounded by rumours and exactly what to believe was hard to decide. There is a huge demand for affordable laptops and everyone expects the Reliance deal to be mouth-watering. Earlier, it was suggested that JioBook would launch along with JioPhone Next smartphone, which did not happen. But now, since the JioBook laptop specifications have been listed on GeekBench, the launch really looks imminent.

Reliance JioBook Specifications

As per Geekbench, JioBook laptop is expected to be powered by a MediaTek MT8788 processor with 2GB RAM. The previous leaks suggested that the JioBook will come with custom JioOS based on Android, while Geekbench listing says that the laptop will come with Android 11. At Geekbench, the JioBook received 1,178 and 4,246 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

Considering the past leaks, the JioBook is tipped to sport an HD display with 1366x768 pixel resolution. However, there is no other information regarding the display. As per the reports, one of the JioBook is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor coupled with a Snapdragon X12 4G modem. One JioBook model is expected to have 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage, while another is expected to have 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

The rest of the specifications for this new laptop are believed to include an HDMI port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE connectivity. Jio applications such as JioStore, JioMeet, and JioPages are expected to be included with the JioBook.

Reliance JioBook Price

The Reliance JioBook is expected to be a low-cost laptop. Till now, there are no price details available, but it is expected to be under INR 35,000 because the company seems to be targeting consumers who want laptops for online classes, browsing the internet, and other basic computing needs. The official information from the company is still awaited, hence the launch date and price is unknown.
