Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch with 7-day battery life launched in India

Amazfit has launched another smartwatch in India, and it's the GTS 2 with an AMOLED display.

Amazfit today announced the launch of a new smartwatch in India. Amazfit GTS 2 will officially launch in India on December 21. This is the second smartwatch from Amazfit after the GTR 2. Amazfit also plans to launch the GTS 2 mini in India during Christmas.

Amazfit GTS 2 is priced at ₹12,999, and it comes in one Midnight Black colour. It is currently available on Amazfit's online store, and it will go on sale via Amazon India as well. 

Unlike the Amazfit GTR 2, the GTS 2 has a square display with a 1.65-inch HD AMOLED screen. On top of this is 3D Corning Glass with anti-fingerprint coating, and scratch resistance coating. The smartwatch supports over 50 watch faces, and it also has an always-on display.

Amazfit GTS 2 features a BioTracker 2 PPG optical sensor for heart rate monitoring including resting heart rate, heart rate zones and warnings for abnormal heart rates. It can also measure your blood-oxygen saturation. The smartwatch can also monitor your sleep including REM sleep and short naps.

More features on the Amazfit GTS 2 include over 90 built-in sports modes, and 5 ATM water resistance up to 50 meters. The smartwatch comes with 3GB of storage space for local music files. It also has a built-in speaker and microphone for phone calls. The GTS 2 smartwatch can also be connected to Bluetooth headphones.

There's a 246mAh battery on the Amazfit GTS 2 that is said to last for seven days on typical usage, and 20 days on basic usage.
