Apple iPhone 12 Mini could be the rumoured 5.4-inch model in 2020 lineup
Apple iPhone 12 Mini is expected to come with an OLED panel and 5G connectivity. Here is what you need to know about iPhone 12 series, which is set to launch on October 13.
Apple will soon launch the long-awaited iPhone 12 series. The lineup is said to feature the usual upgrades, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Reports suggest there will be one more thing from Apple this year – iPhone 12 Mini. Ahead of the official launch, more evidence around the existence of an iPhone 12 Mini has emerged.
A leakster on Twitter has published case stickers of the new phone, confirming the Mini. The case stickers also reveal a 5.4-inch display on what is being dubbed as the smallest phone in the new lineup.
Apple has long been rumoured to be working on a compact 5.4-inch iPhone. The smartphone is likely to come with OLED screen and 5G support. The phone is likely to come with minor design tweaks. For instance, it will have a smaller notch than the iPhone 11.

Apple fans have long sought after a compact iPhone. The company earlier this year launched iPhone SE. The phone, however, came with a dated design with some of the specs borrowed from the main iPhone series. An iPhone Mini is likely to address this gap with a trendier design and compact screen.
It is also worth noting that a ‘mini' branding is not new for Apple. The company already offers an iPad Mini and Mac Mini. If reports are to believed, the Mini name will come to iPhone series for the first time.
That said, Apple will launch at least four new models next month. At the rumoured October 13, it will showcase iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
According to reports, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will come with the same 6.1-inch displays. The Pro model, however, will offer better specs in the camera department and may also include the LiDAR sensor. The top-end iPhone 12 Pro Max is said to come with a larger 6.7-inch display. All four new iPhones will run on the company's new A14 Bionic chipset and may support 5G.
