It is possible that the new iPhone 12 models might ship without the EarPods in the box. Ever since Apple announced that they are removing the power adapter from the Apple Watch box this year, rumour has it that Apple might not include the charger or EarPods with the iPhone 12 devices. With iOS 14.2 beta 2, which has been rolled out to developers, Apple has dropped hints that those rumours are possibly true. Besides this, we know that the iPhone 12 Pro models will come with the LiDAR tech we have seen on the iPad Pro models earlier. This tech facilitates enhanced AR support on the device. The lower-end iPhone 12 models are not going to get this tech. Also, we know that while all the iPhone 12 models will come with 5G support, only the high-end iPhone 12 Pro Max will support the fastest 5G speeds - the mmWave 5G. And only the iPhone 12 Pro Max models that are going to be shipped to the US, Korea and Japan will support the mmWave 5G.
