Asus unveils new variant of ROG Phone 3 (HT Tech)

Asus on Tuesday announced the launch of a new variant of ROG Phone 3. The new version comes with 12GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The phone will be available during Flipkart's Big Billion Days sale for ₹52,999.

The latest variant joins Asus ROG Phone 3's other two versions – 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB – priced at ₹49,999 and ₹57,999, respectively. ROG Phone 3 range will also be available with No Cost EMI offering of 3, 6 and 9 months on for Bajaj FinServ, Flipkart Cardless Credit, and Credit card and Debit card from all banks partnered with Flipkart. You can also avail an instant discount on purchases through SBI Bank credit and debit cards.

Asus had launched ROG Phone 3 in July this year. Touted as one of the most powerful phones in the world, ROG Phone 3 comes with a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 10-bit HDR10+ support and 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood runs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor with 3.1GHz clock speed and Adreno 650 GPU. A 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support powers the phone.

On the camera front, ROG Phone 3 includes 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor Quad Bayer technology and f/1.8 aperture + 13-megapixel 125-degree ultra-wide camera + 5-megapixel macro camera with f/2.0 aperture. At the front, there is a 24-megapixel f/2.0 camera. The smartphone can also shoot 8K resolution videos at 30fps.

The phone also comes with a few hardware and software optimisations to ensure a seamless gaming experience.
