Asus earlier this week announced it will launch the ROG Phone 3 on July 22. This will be the third gaming phone from Asus under its ROG brand. The ROG Phone 3 will launch in India as well.

Asus also confirmed the ROG Phone 3 will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset. Lenovo's gaming smartphone will also run on the same chipset. The ROG Phone 3 has now passed through Taiwan's NCC certification confirming few specs. It has been listed with a 6,000mAh battery and up to 30W fast charging support. The gaming phone will also have 512GB onboard storage.

The ROG Phone 3 had also been spotted on TENAA previously. Here, the smartphone's battery capacity was listed as 5,800mAh. The TENAA listing also revealed the ROG Phone 3 will feature a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It will have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

For photography, the ROG Phone 3 could sport a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. The smartphone could offer 12GB or 16GB of RAM.

There isn't much we know about the ROG Phone 3's design. But the media invite did highlight the ROG lighting at the rear of the phone. This is something we've already seen on the previous ROG phones. Asus has so far launched the ROG Phone and ROG Phone 2. Both smartphones are available in India. Asus will be met with a new rival ‘Lenovo Legion' which could also launch the same day as the ROG Phone 3.
