Asus ROG Phone 3 to launch in India today: All you need to know

Asus will launch a new gaming smartphone later tonight in India. Asus ROG Phone 3 will be another power-packed gaming phone. The India launch of ROG Phone 3 will also be the phone's global debut.

Asus has so far confirmed that the ROG Phone 3 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865+ processor. Other than that, Asus has pretty much kept the ROG Phone 3 under wraps.

But according to leaks, the ROG Phone 3 is expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging speed. It could come with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. ROG Phone 3 is also expected to feature a 6.59-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an on-screen fingerprint scanner. The smartphone's display will most likely have 120Hz refresh rate.

A triple camera setup is expected on the ROG Phone 3 with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. In terms of design, ROG Phone 3 has been leaked with the upper and bottom bezels still intact. There's no presence of a punch-hole or pop-up camera. The ROG Phone 3 still looks quite like last year's ROG Phone 2 but with a much cleaner design. The ROG logo is visible at the rear panel like we've seen on the ROG Phone and ROG Phone 2.

How to watch the live-stream

The ROG Phone 3 launch will be a virtual event scheduled to start at 8:15 pm IST. The event will be live-streamed via Asus India's official YouTube page. The smartphone is also confirmed to launch as a Flipkart exclusive. There's no word on its availability though.
