Asus Zenfone 8 mini full spec sheet leaked ahead of launch
Asus Zenfone 8 mini is expected to come with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 888 processor, and a 4,000mAh battery.
Asus is only a few days away from the Zenfone 8 series launch but the expected phones are still showing up in leaks and reports. Asus hasn’t revealed much about the Zenfone 8 series, and even how many phones it will launch. Based on leaks so far, a Zenfone 8 mini and Zenfone 8 Flip have been making the most appearances. A new leak now details the full specifications list of Zenfone 8 mini.
The new details come from tipster Mukul Sharma who shared the specs of the Zenfone 8 mini on Twitter. According to this leak, Zenfone 8 mini will feature a 5.9-inch full HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, and it will be paired with up to 16GB of RAM.
In the photography department, it will feature three rear cameras with a 64-megapixel primary sensor which will be a Sony IMX686 sensor. It will also feature a 12-megapixel wide angle lens and a macro sensor. For selfies, the smartphone will house a 12-megapixel front camera. The cameras will also be equipped with EIS, and have support for 8K video recording and 4K slow-mo at 12fps.
Asus Zenfone 8 mini is said to offer 256GB of internal storage, and also feature UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone will pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. More features on the Zenfone 8 mini include Hi-Fi audio playback via headphones, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and dual speakers. The smartphone is also tipped to come with 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, and run ZenUI 8 based on Android 11.
In terms of design, the Zenfone 8 mini is expected to feature a punch-hole display. With almost all its specifications revealed, there isn’t much left to know about the Zenfone 8 mini. We’ll get to know the final details on May 12 when Asus launches the Zenfone 8 series.
