Asus is gearing up for the launch of its Zenfone 8 series on May 12. Ahead of the official launch, Asus has already revealed some details of the new series. Also, a bunch of leaks have given more idea about the phones. Now, Zenfone 8 mini, one of the handsets in the new series, has been spotted on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).

The listing hints at the imminent launch of the phone. The listing comes after Asus Zenfone 8 Pro (Asus_I007D) and Zenfone 8 mini (Asus_I006D) were spotted online. There is no word on the vanilla Zenfone 8 version.

According to older rumours, Zenfone 8 mini will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage for the base model. The phone will also be available in an 8GB+128GB model. The company would also offer more variants with 8GB, 12GB and 16GB RAM and 256GB of built-in storage.

The phone will feature a 4,000mAh battery. It will also support 30W fast charging support. The phone is said to feature an OLED 5.92-inch display.

The phone is also said to pack a 64-megapixel primary sensor (Sony IMX686) and a new Sony IMX663 sensor. An older leak said the phone would run on Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 888 processor.

As far as Zenfone 8 goes, the phone is rumoured to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and a 120Hz display. The vanilla and Pro models are said to come with a full HD screen with up to 144Hz refresh rate.
