Asus Zenfone 8 Flip, Zenfone 8 specs, design leaked ahead of launch
Asus is launching the Zenfone 8 series on May 12. Ahead of the launch, the Zenfone 8 phones have been showing up in multiple leaks, as expected. The latest leak details specifications and renders of Zenfone 8 and a ‘Zenfone 8 Flip'. Based on this leak we can expect Asus to continue with the flip camera mechanism.
Asus is expected to launch at three phones from the Zenfone 8 series. According to a report by 91mobiles, two of the phones will be Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip. The third phone will most likely be Zenfone 8 mini, based on leaks so far. Zenfone 8 Flip, like the name suggests will have a flip camera where the rear cameras flip to the front for selfies. The smartphone is seen in two colour options of silver and black. There's also a blue-coloured power button.
In terms of specs, Asus Zenfone 8 Flip will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the Quacomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will also pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The triple flip cameras will feature a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel macro sensor.
The Zenfone 8 has a punch-hole display, and two rear cameras. Here, too there's a blue-coloured power button. Zenfone 8 is also spotted in silver and black colours. This Zenfone 8 is said to be the “mini” model in the series based on its screen size. The smartphone is said to feature a 5.92-inch FHD+ display, and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Its dual camera setup will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, and a 12-megapixel macro sensor. It is also said to pack a 4,000mAh battery.
