As of now, this feature is available for only android users based in the US. It is likely to be available for Indian users soon. The new ‘Track Prices’ feature will help shoppers by implementing a new overlay on the tab grid that will show the new price of the product as well as the original price of the product. By this, the shoppers will be able to see the discounted price of an item and keep track of the price change on the Chrome app.

For multiple products in multiple separate tabs, there will be a separate overlay for each tab and product, enabling users to track the prices of many products quickly at the same time.

How to track price drop on google?

Shoppers will be required to open Chrome on Android and go to the three-dot menu available on the top right corner. Next, they will see a new ‘Track Prices’ option. Upon clicking this tab, the users will get to see the price drop on the products that they want to purchase. It must be noted that this feature is available only on Google Chrome updated version.

Additionally, Google Chrome also added the ‘search with snapshot’ feature which will allow users to take an image from offline stores by using Google Lens and search for it on online platforms.
