Google Pixel 4a to launch in India today, all you need to know
Google Pixel 4a will be available on Flipkart, and it's sale will take place during the Big Billion Days.
Google will finally launch the Pixel 4a in India today. Google had earlier confirmed the Pixel 4a would launch on October 17 but Flipkart later listed the launch date as October 9.
Google Pixel 4a launch is scheduled to take place today, and the smartphone will go on sale during the Big Billion Days that start on October 16. Since the phone has already made its debut, only its price is left to be revealed. In the US, Pixel 4a is priced at $349 which translates to roughly ₹25,600. As for the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, Google has already confirmed these phones won't launch in India.
In terms of specs, Google Pixel 4a features a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED display with HDR+ support and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under its hood runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730G processor. The smartphone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. Pixel 4a is available in only one storage variant.
The phone's highlight is its camera, and on the Pixel 4a there's a 12.2-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel punch-hole wide-angle camera. The smartphone also comes with Dual Pixel tech, HDR support and OIS. It also has the Pixel camera features such as Portrait Mode, Top Shot, and Night Sight.
Pixel 4a packs a 3,140mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone include a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, single eSIM support, and Bluetooth 5.0. On the software front, Pixel 4a runs Android 10 out-of-the-box with Android 11 already available. There's only one colour variant of the Pixel 4a which is ‘Just Black'.
