At the occasion of Holi, which is better known as the festival of colours, it is not just important to get your shots correct and in good exposure, but also to edit it and make it more lively. And for editing images, while many smartphone makers offer their own editing features embedded inside the gallery, there are some really good third-party apps for Android and iOS handsets. We have listed down some of them below. Check it out!

Snapseed

Snapseed is one of the most popular apps right now for editing images. Available on both Android and iOS, the app not just gives you easy to apply filters but options to manually tweak shots using custom tuning, curves, tonal contrast, white balance and more. That said, it may not be for a casual user.

Remember Prisma? The app that rose to fame quickly a few years ago, also makes it to the list. Available on iOS and Android, Prisma is not like your usual editing app. It uses artificial neural networks to turn your images into a paint-like art or a sketch. There are a whole lot of filters as well.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is not for casual users. It brings a whole lot of granular editing options for colours, details, highlights, shadows and more. You can get it on both Android and iOS. Like in VSCO, you can also import RAW images here and get even more features if you have Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
