Google has officially rolled out the first public beta of Android 11, the next iteration of its mobile operating system. As expected, Google’s new Android version comes with a wide range of new features, interface improvements and other enhancements.

The Android 11 public beta is currently available to select handsets, all Google’s own Pixel smartphones. The beta version is likely to arrive on other phones as well. Oppo has already confirmed its upcoming Find X2 will get the Android 11 Beta update next month.

How to install Android 11 Beta on your phone

If your phone is eligible for Android 11 Beta, here’s how you can download it.

You need to sign up with Android 11 Beta’s official website. Select your phone from the list which will appear on the website.

Soon, you will receive a notification that the Android 11 Beta is ready for download and install.

In case you don’t get the notification, you can go to your phone’s Settings > System > System Update. Here, tap on the “Check for update” to check the update is available on your smartphone.
