iPhone 12 Pro, Pro Max base models to come with 128GB storage
The iPhone 12 mini and standard iPhone 12 will start at 64GB for the base model according to a new leak.
Apple's iPhone 12 launch is drawing closer and it could take place in less than two weeks. This year four new iPhones are expected in the iPhone 12 lineup. There have been multiple leaks and reports on the new iPhones, and these continue to pour even now. The most expensive iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max models are said to start at 128GB as the base variant.
This comes from tipster Jon Prosser who tweeted the storage variants of all the four iPhones. It looks like Apple will be scrapping the 64GB variant for the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max models. The other storage options would most likely be 256GB and 512GB. It doesn't seem very surprising since these two would be the most expensive iPhones in the series, and a 128GB base model makes sense.

— Jon Prosser (@jon_prosser) September 29, 2020
The shipment includes:
iPhone 12 mini 5.4
(Definitely the final marketing name)
-64/128/256
iPhone 12 6.1
-64/128/256
Event on October 13, as I mentioned before.
As for the iPhone 12 mini, this one will be available in three storage options of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The iPhone 12 will also come in the same storage configurations as the mini version. Prosser reiterates that the iPhone 12 event will take place on October 13 as he had earlier mentioned. Apple has been rumoured of launching the new iPhones in October so the launch does seem imminent.
Apple's iPhone 12 series is said to come with 5G support on all four models. There was however a report stating that the iPhone 12 mini will not have 5G. The new iPhones are also expected to feature OLED displays. It's not clear if the iPhone 12 will make this tradeoff as well.
