Here's what to expect from HMD Global's upcoming Android Go phone.
HMD Global is rumoured to be working on Nokia 1.4, the successor to Nokia 1.3. The smartphone's specifications leaked earlier this month, and now details reveal its colour options, and pricing as well.
According to a report by My Smart Price, Nokia 1.4 will feature a 6.51-inch HD+ display, and it will be powered by a quad-core processor. The Android Go smartphone is also said to pack 1GB of RAM with 16GB of storage, and a 4,000mAh battery. It will also support expandable storage up to 128GB via a microSD card. The leak adds that it will feature a dual-camera setup at the rear with an 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel camera. The smartphone will also house a 5-megapixel front camera.
Nokia 1.4 will run Android 10 (Go edition) out-of-the-box when it launches. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, dual SIM, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB port. It will also be equipped with a fingerprint sensor making it the first Nokia 1 series smartphone to offer this feature. The smartphone is said to come in two colour options of blue and grey, and it will be priced under 100 euros ( ₹8,900 approx).
That's quite a detailed spec sheet for the Nokia 1.4. HMD Global is yet to tease or announce the launch of the Nokia 1.4. Its predecessor, Nokia 1.3 launched last year in March so we should see the debut of Nokia 1.4 soon.
