Oppo A15 is coming to India with these features, specifications

Oppo will soon launch a new budget smartphone in India. Called A15, the phone will be available via Amazon India. Ahead of the official launch, Oppo has already begun teasing the phone through its social media handles.

The latest teaser reveals Oppo A15 will come with a 16.55cm (6.52-inch) display with “waterdrop eye protection screen.” According to Oppo, the phone will come with an “AI Brightness” feature that “learns your preferences and automatically adjusts brightness.”

An Amazon listing has also revealed some of the other specifications. The listing reveals the phone comes with a square-camera module. The phone is confirmed to come with a triple rear camera setup that features a 13-megapixel main sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The back panel also houses a dedicated fingerprint sensor.

According to leaks, Oppo A15 will run on MediaTek Helio P35 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It will come with 32GB built-in storage. The smartphone also supports microSD slot for expandable storage. There could be more RAM and storage combinations. On the software front, it will have Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 out-of-the-box. Oppo A15 will be powered by a 4,230mAh battery.

Oppo has not disclosed the launch date of the phone yet. The listing on Amazon indicates the phone will launch in India sooner than expected. It could very well be part of the upcoming Great Indian Festival Sale on the e-commerce platform. The sale is scheduled to begin on October 17.
