Oppo Reno 4 Pro to launch in India on July 31
Oppo Reno 4 Pro comes with a 90Hz display, 48-megapixel quad camera, and support for 65W fast charging speed.
Oppo has announced the launch date for its Reno 4 Pro smartphone in India. Oppo has been teasing the arrival of the Reno 4 series in India ever since it launched last month. Oppo is however not bringing the Reno 4 in India.
Oppo Reno 4 Pro will launch in India on July 31 with the event scheduled to start at 12:30 pm. Oppo had previously mentioned that the Reno 4 Pro will come with localised features for users in India. It hasn’t revealed the customisations on the smartphone yet.
Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a curved display which the company calls a ‘3D Borderless Sense Screen’. It also has a punch-hole camera on the display for selfies. The smartphone comes in four colour options of blue, red, black and white. There’s also a special ‘Green Glitter’ variant of the Reno 4 Pro which costs a little more than the others.
In terms of specs, Oppo Reno 4 Pro features a 6.5-inch curved AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset. It comes in two storage variants of 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB.
At the rear, there’s a combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, 13-megapixel telephoto lens and a Laser detection auto-focus lens. The selfie camera is a 32-megapixel sensor. Oppo Reno 4 Pro packs a 4,020mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The Reno 4 Pro in China, starts at RMB 3,799 which translates to roughly ₹40,500. The India pricing is also expected to hover somewhere around this since Oppo has offered the Reno series in the affordable premium segment.
Oppo is also expected to launch its smartwatch along with the Reno 4 Pro, according to a report by Pricebaba. The company however hasn't confirmed the India launch of Oppo Watch.
