The Oppo Reno 6 5G and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G are bound for India now after they were launched in China earlier, The Reno 6 series smartphones consisting of the Oppo Reno 6, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ were launched earlier in the year there. Today, the company announced that it will be bringing two of these smartphones to India. However, for some reason, the third one has been dropped and will not make it to Indian shores. It looks like Oppo will not be launching the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ smartphone in India but, it is possible that the phone will be launched in the country at a later date.

Oppo Reno 6 series launch date in India

Oppo has announced that the Oppo Reno 6 series, consisting of the Oppo Reno 6 5G and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G, will be launching in India on July 14. The company will launch its next-generation Oppo Reno series smartphones in India via an official event later this month.

Oppo Reno 6 series price

The Oppo Reno 6 starts at CNY 2,799 (rs 31,800 approx.) in China. The Reno 6 Pro, on the other hand, comes at a starting price of CNY 3,499 ( ₹39,800 approx.). The Reno 6 Pro+, on the other hand, starts at CNY 3,999 ( ₹45,500 approx.) in the country.

Oppo said that its Reno5 Pro 5G Sales

Talking about the Reno series, Oppo said that its Reno5 Pro 5G witnessed a bumper sale with over 100% growth in the first quarter of sales. The company also said that its Reno series smartphones have been used to make nearly 200 million videos in a single month.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G specs

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is expected to come with a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor that is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. On the camera front, it is likely to come with a 64MP+8MP+2MP rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. It is also expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Oppo Reno 6 5G specs

Oppo Reno 6, on the other hand, is expected to feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. It is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC that is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. The Oppo Reno 6 is likely to feature the same camera setup as is available in the Pro variant. But, it is expected to sport a smaller 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging technology.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro+

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ comes with a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It features a 50MP+16MP+13MP+2MP rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
