Oppo is launching the Reno 6 smartphone series on May 27. Oppo is expected to launch at least three phones including Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+. Ahead of the launch, Oppo has teased the Reno 6 series showing off the phones’ design.

According to a video teaser posted by Oppo, and listings of the phones on JD.com, the Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ have curved displays looking quite similar to the Reno 5 Pro. Oppo has also continued with the glittery rear design on the two phones. As for the vanilla Reno 6, its renders reveal square edges much like the iPhone 12 series. The listing also reveals that the phone will come in three colour options of “Summer Blue”, “Night Sea”, and “Galaxy Dream”. It is also mentioned that the Oppo Reno 6 will have a 90Hz display, and 65W fast charging support.

The Reno 6 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It will feature a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Reno 6 Pro+ is said to run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset under its hood. This phone too will have a quad-camera setup but with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Both phones are also said to feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ display. We might see a higher refresh rate of 120Hz on the Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+.

With only a week left to go for the Reno 6 series launch, we will soon get to know the detailed specifications, features and prices of the upcoming Oppo phones.
