Poco, now an independent brand of Xiaomi, is gearing up to launch its next smartphone in India. Dubbed as Poco M2 Pro, the smartphone is scheduled to launch on July 7. It will also be the global debut of what will be Poco's third phone in India.

Ahead of the official launch, Poco has already revealed some of the important features of the phone. This includes availability as well as its charging capacity. Let's round up what we know about Poco M2 Pro so far.

Availability

Poco M2 Pro will be available online exclusively via Flipkart. Ahead of the official launch, the phone has already been listed on the e-commerce platform. Right now, there's no registration link for the phone.

Charging

Poco has also confirmed the smartphone will support 33W fast charging support. The charger is likely to ship with the retail box. It will have the USB Type-C support as well.

Quad camera

According to the images on the Flipkart listing page, Poco M2 Pro will sport as many as four rear cameras. The module is said to be very similar to Redmi's Note 9 series. There is no word on the camera configurations of the phone yet.

Performance

While Poco has confirmed the phone will run on a Qualcomm chip, rumours suggest it will have a Snapdragon 720G processor. This is the same chipset that runs on the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. A recent Geekbench listing reveals the phone has 6GB of RAM. The phone is likely to be available in multiple RAM and storage variants.

As said earlier, Poco M2 Pro will be Poco's third phone in India after Poco F1 and Poco X2. The company has been looking to expand its portfolio since its debut as an independent brand. The company is also gearing up to launch its first-ever wireless earbuds, Poco Pop Buds. We're likely to find out more about the two devices in the coming days.
