Poco M3 Pro 5G to launch in India: Poco is launching its first 5G smartphone in India today. Poco M3 Pro 5G made its debut last month in Europe, and it comes with specifications similar to the Redmi Note 10 5G but in a fresh Poco look. Poco M3 Pro 5G launch event is scheduled for 11:30 am today. It will be a virtual event that will be livestreamed on Poco’s YouTube channel.
Poco M3 Pro 5G is expected to be an affordable offering from the company. In Europe, the smartphone starts at 180 euros which translates to roughly ₹16,100. Poco is expected to price the M3 Pro 5G around the same in India. The India pricing has also been leaked to be around ₹17,999 for the 6GB+128GB model but this is said to be the box price which means the actual selling price could be more. Poco is expected to launch a 64GB variant of the phone as well.
Poco M3 Pro 5G in three colour options of black, yellow and blue. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch FHD+ punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Poco M3 Pro 5G also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup featuring a 8-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel front camera. Some of the camera features include video macro mode, time-lapse video, and slow motion video. Poco M3 Pro 5G also houses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with support for AI face unlock as well. Its connectivity options include NFC, dual SIM, dual 5G standby, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. On the software front, Poco M3 Pro 5G runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
