Poco M2 recently got a price cut (Poco )

Poco on Wednesday announced that it has now sold more than 1 million units of the recently launched Poco M2.

Poco had launched M2 in India in September last year. The smartphone was also one of the top-selling phones online in the month of November, according to Counterpoint Research. The smartphone recently got a price cut as well and is now available for a starting price of ₹10,999.

Poco M2 specifications

Poco M2 sports a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It also comes with TÜV Rheinland certification.

For performance, the phone runs on MediaTek's Helio G80 processor. It is available in 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB combinations. A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone. It also supports 18W charging. The phone comes with a 10W charger in the box.

For photography, the phone offers a quad-camera setup on the back. The setup consists of a 13MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 118-degree field of view, 5MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

It runs on Android 10-based MIUI 11. It comes with a fingerprint reader on the back. The phone also supports AI face unlock as well. The phone comes with P2i's nano-coating, which makes it resistant to accidental splashes.

Poco M3

Poco is now gearing up for the launch of M3 in India. The company has already begun teasing the phone on its YouTube channel.

The phone is already available in select markets for a starting price of $149 ( ₹11,000 approximately). The handset comes with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 90.3% screen-to-body ratio.

It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB built-in storage. A 6,000mAh battery powers the phone. The phone ships with a 22.5W fast charger in-the-box. On the back, it has a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
