Poco X3 Pro is coming to India on March 30: Here is what we know so far
Poco on Monday sent out invites for a virtual event on March 30. The company is likely to unveil the long-rumoured Poco X3 Pro on that day.
“Time to break the price-performance benchmark. Brace yourselves as we get ready to unleash MAD #PROformance on 30th March,” reads the invite, which is similar to the teaser email sent by Poco last week. The company had said “something is coming up” in the letter.
Poco in its email last week had also hinted at the price point of the upcoming smartphone. The company suggested the phone would be available in the ₹20,000-price range.
“It’s crazy that we’re in 2021 and not a single phone launched at the price of the F1 ( ₹21K) has been able to match or beat its performance. It’s been 30 months (or if you’re counting in smartphone terms, a lifetime)! We are now in a different world. Costs have gone up + tax,” the company had said.
That said, Poco X3 Pro has appeared in multiple leaks so far. The handset is rumoured to come with an LCD panel with full HD resolution and a 6.67-inch size. It will also come with up to 120Hz refresh rate. For performance, it would rely on Qualcomm’s with a high-end Qualcomm processor and a 5,200mAh battery. The phone will reportedly come with 33W fast charging support. It will have a quad-rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel sensor. It is said to be available in 6+128GB and 8+256GB storage combinations.
Apart from the Poco X3 Pro India launch, the company is reportedly planning to launch its Poco X3 globally. Already, the phone has launched in India. Available for a starting price of ₹16,999, Poco X3 comes with a Snapdragon 732G processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone also has up to 128GB of built-in storage.
It features a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features of the phone are a 6.67-inch full HD+ display, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
