Realme 7 5G to launch today: How to watch livestream, specs and more

Realme will launch a new 5G smartphone today in the UK. Realme 7 5G will come with a punch-hole display and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as confirmed in the teaser of the phone. Other than the 5G support, there isn't much known about Realme 7 5G.

Realme will livestream the launch event of its new phone on its YouTube channel, Twitter and Facebook as well. The launch event is scheduled to start at 10:00 am GMT which is 3:30 pm IST for viewers in India. Realme hasn't revealed anything about its upcoming smartphone but it's expected to be a rebranded version of the Realme V5 smartphone.

Realme V5 is currently available only in China, and Realme 7 5G could be its global version. A Realme phone with the same model number as the Realme V5 was spotted on the NTBC website, and this one is expected to be the Realme 7 5G.

Going by this assumption, Realme 7 5G will feature a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 720 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also pack a 5,000mAh battery.

Realme 7 5G will house four rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors. Up front, the smartphone will house a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of pricing, Realme 7 5G is rumoured to start at CNY 1,499 ( ₹17,000 approx) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and CNY 1,899 ( ₹21,400 approx) for the 8GB+128GB variant.
