Redmi Note 10 series tipped to launch in India on March 10

Xiaomi hasn't revealed the launch date yet but a new leak suggests March 10 for the Redmi Note 10 series.

Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 10 series in India in March. The launch date hasn't been announced yet but a new report suggests that it could be on March 10.

According to a report by Gizmo China, a leaked Amazon listing of the Redmi Note 10 series shows March 10th as the launch date. The leak also reveals four smartphones - Redmi Note 10 4G, Redmi Note 10 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. The screenshot does look like an Amazon listing but on searching for Redmi Note 10 shows only “coming soon” at the moment.

Shortly after the launch was announced by Xiaomi India, Amazon also teased the Redmi Note 10 series. The teaser page doesn't reveal anything about the phone though. The new smartphone series is expected to feature the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Based on leaks and rumours, Redmi Note 10 could launch in two variants of 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 750G processor. We could see a MediaTek Dimensity chipset as well.

Redmi Note 10 Pro is expected to launch in three variants of 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. The smartphone is rumoured to come with a 5,050mAh battery and run MIUI 12 out-of-the-box. On the Redmi Note 10 Pro, we could see a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, and a 32-megapixel front camera.

It is also tipped to feature a 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This would make the Redmi Note 10 Pro the first smartphone in the series to feature an AMOLED display.
