Samsung may soon launch a new budget smartphone under its M-series. Dubbed as Galaxy M12, some details of this unreleased phone have already leaked online. And now, the smartphone has appeared on the US' FCC certification website confirming an imminent launch.

The new listing reveals Samsung Galaxy M12 has a 6,000mAh battery. Earlier rumours had claimed the phone has a mammoth 7,000mAh battery.

Last week, Samsung Galaxy M12 had appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The benchmark listing revealed the phone has Exynos 850 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It is likely to launch with Android 11 out-of-the-box.

As Gizmochina points out, Samsung's Galaxy M12 has made multiple appearances on different certification websites such as BIS, Bluetooth SIG, and Wi-Fi Alliances. Rumours suggest the phone could launch in some markets as Galaxy F12.

Samsung Galaxy M12 is said to come with a plastic unibody back panel, flat front, and square-like camera module on the rear. The overall look and feel of the phone is likely to be identical to Galaxy A42.

The upcoming phone is said to offer a combination of 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 5-megapixel sensors on the back. For selfies, it could have a 16-megapixel sensor. The smartphone is rumoured to launch with a price tag of 13,000 approximately.
