Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch Active 4 launch date revealed
Top-of-the-line Samsung smartphones have been eye-ball grabbers, but more than that, they have features that provide utility value to buyers apart from the bling factor. So, all those fans who have been waiting for the next Samsung launch event that will roll out the new high-end smartphones should know that they do not have to wait much longer. Samsung’s next-generation foldable display smartphones have been in the works and reports have hinted at their imminent launch. Now, it has been revealed that Samsung will launch its next-generation foldable display smartphones soon. In fact, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 launch date has been revealed and it will happen in the second quarter of the year. According to reports, Samsung will host its next Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event on August 3 wherein it will launch its Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable display smartphones.
Hold on, that is not all! It is being reported that Samsung will not only launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphones at the event, the South Korean corporate behemoth will also launch its next-generation wearables then. This includes the Galaxy Watch 4 series and the Galaxy Watch Active 4 series.
As per a separate report by tipster Jon Prosser, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones will hit the shelves three weeks later on August 27, 2021. The tipster has also shared information about Samsung’s wearables. While the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will come in 42mm and 46mm variants, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 will be available in 40mm and 44mm variants. Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, these smartwatches will be available a bit earlier on August 11, 2021.
These reports are in line with older reports, which hint towards the two foldables launching in mid-August. Reports in the past had also hinted towards Samsung launching the Galaxy S21 FE alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones in August.
However, a separate report by ETNews says that the production of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition or FE has been halted owing to the global chip shortage. Samsung has refuted the news saying that no decision has been made regarding the Galaxy S21 FE yet. “While we cannot discuss details of the unreleased product, nothing has been determined regarding the alleged production suspension,” Samsung told Bloomberg.
It is worth noting that while Samsung hasn’t rejected the claim hinting that the Galaxy S21 FE will arrive later this year, it has accepted it either, which means that the fate of the phone remains unclear as of now. As far as the launch date is concerned, Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the launch date yet. So, we’ll have to wait for a confirmation from the company to say more.
