Vivo’s new premium smartphone series ‘X50’ will launch in India on July 16. The latest smartphone series marks Vivo’s foray into the country’s premium space which is dominated by the likes of Apple and Samsung.

Ahead of the official launch, Vivo has confirmed X50 series will be manufactured at its Greater Noida facility. It has also confirmed the launch of X50 and X50 Pro models in India. Flipkart is going to be its exclusive online partner.

Vivo has already launched X50 and X50 Pro outside India. The two phones come with 5G connectivity, Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 765 processor, and new and advanced camera features.

In terms of specifications, Vivo X50 comes with a 6.56-inch 90Hz QHD+ display with HDR 10+ support. It has 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage.

The camera configuration on the phone includes a 48-megapixel sensor, 13-megapixel sensor, 8-megapixel sensor, and 5-megapixel sensor. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel sensor.

Other key features of the phone include a 4,200mAh battery, under-display fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.1, and 33W fast charging.

Vivo X50 Pro has almost similar specifications. In the camera department, it offers a combination of a 48-megapixel sensor, 8-megapixel, 13-megapixel, and 8-megapixel sensors.

Both the phones are expected to be priced above 30,000 in India.
