Airtel doubles data on ₹98, increases talktime value on 3 vouchers

Airtel's ₹98 recharge plan which used to offer 6GB of data has now been doubled to 12GB.

Airtel has made a new change to its ₹98 recharge plan giving more benefits to its prepaid users. The telco has also increased talktime for three of its recharge vouchers.

Airtel's ₹98 recharge plan is now offering 12GB of data as opposed to the 6GB data it used to offer previously. This recharge plan comes with a validity of 28 days. There's no other benefits available with this plan though.

Airtel has also increased talktime value in three recharge vouchers. Airtel's ₹500 recharge voucher which used to offer ₹423.73 talktime has been increased to ₹480. On the ₹1,000 recharge voucher talktime has been increased from ₹847.46 to ₹960. As for the ₹5,000 recharge, Airtel has increased the talktime value from ₹4,237 to ₹4,800.

Airtel's changes to its existing recharge plans come shortly after it launched three prepaid plans for select circles. The telco introduced ₹99, ₹129 and ₹199 recharge plans. These recharge plans also offer additional benefits like Zee5, Wynk Music and Airtel Xstream subscription.

Under the ₹99 Airtel plan, users get unlimited calls, 100 SMS daily and 1GB data per day. It has a validity of 18 days. The ₹129 recharge plan also offers 1GB data daily but with 300 SMS and validity of 24 days. As for the ₹199 recharge plan, Airtel offers 1GB data per day, 24 days validity and 100 SMS per day.
